What are treatment options? The area targeted will determine the treatment. The application of a numbing gel to the area should be done approximately 20 minutes before the procedure. It is possible to experience some discomfort, but not pain, during the procedure. Local anesthesia and numbing cream will be used to treat areas that require more intensive treatment. We recommend that you return to our office within 24 to 48 hours to receive further treatment. This includes any additional drainage of excess sebum. You will need to insert an insulated needle under the fat pad, wrinkle or acne follicle. Then, you will use radio frequency to trigger the number of pulses that are needed.
What does recovery look like? The first week may bring about some redness, swelling, and even bruising. You may feel numbness for as long as four weeks after deeper treatments. When can I expect to see results? The area treated may appear worse after the procedure, which is normal. Over the following weeks or months, you will see a dramatic improvement in your skin. New collagen forms, and the skin tightens. This allows you to remold your structure to achieve the desired look. It is possible to get the best results with just one treatment. However, not all procedures can be done in one go. To achieve optimal results, you might need more than one procedure.

This treatment reduces the appearance of wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles, but it isn’t as dramatic as plastic surgery. But if a patient has an eyebrow crease or forehead lines, BOTOX can help. This treatment softens lines and prevents them from creasing your skin. But BOTOX can’t reduce lines and wrinkles caused by the loss of facial fullness. To remedy those issues, we use dermal fillers like JUVEDERM.
