There might be some discomfort but no pain. The numbing lotion and local anesthesia may be used to treat deeper areas. We recommend that you return to our office within 24 to 48 hours to receive further treatment. This includes any additional drainage of excess sebum. The treatment involves inserting an insulated needle in the fat pad or wrinkle to treat acne. Radio frequency is used to trigger the right number of pulses for each area.
What does it mean to recover? You might experience redness, swelling, or bruising the first week. Some patients may experience numbness up to four weeks after deep treatments. When can I expect to see the results? The treated area might look worse during recovery. This is normal. The results of the procedure will be noticeable over time. You'll notice a marked improvement in the structure and appearance of the treated area. It is possible to get the best results with just one treatment. However, not all procedures can be done in one go. You may need to do more than one treatment in order to achieve the best results.
